How to add a watermark (symbol and timeframe) to the chart background in TradingView?

In TradingView it’s possible to add a watermark to your chart background. It will show the current symbol and timeframe you’re working with. It can be pretty useful to have it. It will help you and others better understand your charts and ideas. In this article, I will show you how you can add it to your chart in few simple steps.

First – right-click on your chart and select Settings:

Next in the Settings pop-up select the Appearance tab:

On the Tab, you will find a Watermark checkbox:

Click it and you’ll immediately see your watermark displayed on the TradingView chart. Clicking on the small square to the right you are able to select a color and opacity of your watermark so you can adapt perfectly to your chart theme.

That’s it. As you can see it’s extremely easy to add symbol/timeframe to your TradingView chart background.
